NSA Scotsheep 2026 – Timetable of events
8:30am - Judging of Best Sheep Breed Society Stand and Best Indoor and Outdoor Trade Stand Competitions
9:00am - Event open to public.
9.30am – 3.00pm Farm tour of Wedderlie on tractors and trailers. See map
9.00am – 5.00pm Commercial and educational, sheep breed societies and sheep breeders trade stands open to the public.
9.00am – 3.00pm SAYFC Open and YFC stock judging competition. Entry £5 to be paid on the event day.
9.00am – 5.00pm Crook making and wool weavers, spinners, drum carding and dyers demonstrations throughout the day.
9.30am – 3.55pm Event workshops See separate timetable for detailed information).
10.00am Official opening and presentation of NSA Silver Salver award.
Introductions by Alec Telfer, NSA Scotsheep 2026 Organising Committee Chairman. Welcome to Wedderlie Farm by the Tilson Family. Address by Phil Stocker, NSA Chief Executive. Official opening by his Grace, Charlie Innes-Ker, the Duke of Roxburghe and presentation of NSA Scotland Silver Salver award followed by presentation of best trade stand competition awards and NSA Next Generation Shepherd of the Year.
12.Noon – 4.00pm Shearing competition
2.00pm – 2.45pm Farm to fork - Butchery demonstration Workshop
4.30pm Approx. Shearing competitions presentation of prizes.
5.00pm Event closes to public
