Fencing Competition

The NSA Scotsheep Fencing Competition is a rare opportunity to see Scotland’s professional fencing contractors pit their skills against their fellow competitors and demonstrate the advantage of good quality fence erection. The two-man teams will have three hours to erect the high tensile stock fence.

The competition challenges competitors to erect a section of high tensile stock netting approximately 60-70 metres in length, with two end straining posts and one turning post to create a slight turn towards one end.

This year there will be a change to the usual format as the competition introduces a metal strainer and section of metal posts to one section of the fence.

Numbers are limited due to space restrictions - competing teams will be selected on a draw should the entries exceed the number of available lanes.
